When I was young I believed I was a different species than the rest of the humans. How could these idiots possibly be the same species as me? As I became a teenager, hormones and maturity (what little maturity a teenager has) convinced me I was indeed the same species, just more aware of reality. I was in college before I realized that the subjectiveness of that reality.
Humans, including myself, are extremely inmature. Our attention span doesn't last to this point in this comment. We easily forget the facts and belive the pretty pictures the politicians/marketers show us.
Our current develepment can be described as "Show me something shiny".
Then again I was wrong before.
