stop eating meat!!!

my friend marc informed me last night that he actually saw on the very mainstream ABC news a short piece about how one of the best things you can do for the environment is to eat less meat. vegans have known this all along, but it seems to be a pretty big deal that this concept actually got mention in the mainstream media. it's a very very quick overview of the reasons why meat is bad for the environment, but it's something. it points to a possible mini-awakening of the public, possibly.
